Suspected Cultists Nabbed By Security Operatives During Initiation Ceremony In Enugu
The Enugu state command of the Nigeria police through its operatives of the special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) Enugu command have nabbed two notorious suspected cultists who gave their names as Benjamin Ofuoke from Izzi in Ebonyi state but residing in Enugu and chukwu collins from Ezioha in Awgu local Government Area of Enugu state.
Benjamin ofuoke disclosed that he is a carpenter but regretted why he has to join cult group.Chukwu collins on his part, regretted what took him to cult group a situation he blamed on one of his friends called ifeanyi at Emene during their secondary school days in November 2012 who forced him towards joining cult group although he did not reveal it to his parents.
He further disclosed that he is a member of J.V.C Confraternity and also a mechanic.He maintained that he has been struggling to leave the group since the demise of his brother identified as Amaechi chukwu a cultist in December 2012 who was allegedly killed by a rival cult group at ukwu mango Emene and however pray that he should be left off the hook as he has decided to to turn into a new leaf.
He also enjoin youths to refrain from cultism and cult related issues.Recovered them is a black initiation scarf which is used to cover the face of their victim during initiations.Suspects are helping the operatives in their investigations which has commenced in full scale just as they have intensified manhunt on the fleeing cultists.
